Working Programs

Bidang Peningkatan Kualitas Manusia, Ristek, dan Inovasi

The Vice Chairman Coordinator of Human Quality Improvement, Research, and Innovation has 26 working programs, which are:

  • Energy, Resources, and Minerals Area:
  1. Encouraging the approval of the EBT bill
  2. Encouraging the approval of the Migas bill
  3. Promoting the implementation of mineral and coal downstreaming

 

  • Health Area:
    National discussion on the Health Bill on March 16th, 2023


In addition The Vice Chairman Coordinator of Human Quality Improvement, Research, and Innovation has several other programs from the respective areas and organizations beneath, including 

  • The KADIN Virtual Business Disaster Operation Center (KADIN VBDOC),
  • UMKM Go E-Commerce,
  • SMK revitalization,
  • Sports week, and other programs.

Education and Culture Programme

  1. Education Hub. This programme focuses on employer/industry collaboration in the form of collaboration activities with universities, bootcamp/training for upskilling, education and industry forums, recommendations for internship places, joint research, and entrepreneurship coaching.
  2. Kadin Inclusive Leadership (Disabled Only). Kadin encourages people with disabilities to carry out activities to improve their competence so that they can get equal employment and treatment.
  3. Creation of National Profession Occupancy Map. Kadin will collaborate with universities, map the existing SKKNI and record professions that have no SKKNI available.
  4. Creation of Knowledge Management (KM) for Culture. Kadin will gather programmes and activities that support the popularization and development of culture, create a KM system that can accommodate the needs and utilise the latest technology to get the best results such as metaverse, AI, etc.


Transportation Programme 

  1. Regional visits to see the potential and constraints of transport infrastructure and facilities. Kadin will identify and observe challenges/problems in several regions and determine 2 new regions to be developed.
  2. Bring in foreign investment to participate in the development of transport infrastructure. 
  3. Kadin 1000 UMKM Expo 2024: "UMKM Go E-Commerce". The focus of this programme is to optimise technology & good distribution channels by utilising the NLE (National Logistics Ecosystem) in order to increase digital transactions of MSMEs in rural areas, build fulfillment centres & transportation hubs in sub-districts/villages, increase digital transactions in sub-districts/villages. Kadin will collaborate with ASPERINDO and Kadin of West Java Province and Kadin of Kuningan Regency.
  4. Building HR Competence in the Transportation Sector. Kadin for Transportation will form a working group with Kadin for Vocational and Certification, and Kadin for Education and Culture to develop competency standards for human resources for transportation of people and goods in the transportation sector. 
  5. Support the Organisation of INSA Yacht Festival (IYF) 2024 in Bali. This event can be a momentum to reopen Indonesia's marine tourism potential, as well as a gathering of international stakeholders in the field of maritime and tourism.


Mineral Resources Programme

  1. Minerba Downstreaming. Kadin encourages the issuance of the Minerba Downstreaming Roadmap to guide the transformation process towards increasing the added value of the mineral and coal sub-sector. Kadin also encourages increased private participation in the downstreaming of mineral and coal mining products.
  2. Waste-to-Energy PLTSa. In the implementation of this programme, a feasibility study will be conducted to evaluate the potential location, technology needs, and financial aspects. Then 1 PLTSa Pilot Project will be built in one or several regions as a trial.
  3. Morning Coffee with the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources. This programme was implemented to increase transparency in policy, build collaborative solutions, and improve public understanding of key aspects in the ESDM sector.
  4. Mining and Energy Anniversary Flagship Event. There will be various activities utilising this moment to strengthen the partnership between the government (Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources) and stakeholders in the Mining and Energy industry.


Health Sector Programme

  1. Health-related Policy Advocacy. Kadin will involve associations in the health sector and related governments in various Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) related to the implementation of a number of policies and their derivatives in the health sector.
  2. Disease Prevention and Control. The programme will focus on education and screening activities in 6 TB-prone provinces and campaign activities to reduce stunting.
  3. ASEAN-BAC Health Institute Legacy Project. With the establishment of the ASEAN-BAC Health Institute under the auspices of the ASEAN Secretariat, the programme will accelerate dengue vaccination and TB detection.


Social and Disaster Management Programme

  1. Disaster Risk Management (MRB) Training for MSMEs. Kadin will continue the "Urban Community for Resilient Action" (KUAT) programme with USAID on the importance of microinsurance involving MSMEs and continue cooperation with the International Organization for Migration (IOM) on case study data collection.
  2. Establishment of Kadin Resilience Foundation. Kadin officially assists the recovery of communities and businesses affected by disasters by working with the government and other related parties.
  3. Virtual Business Emergency Operation Centre (VBEOC). This platform is an information system that provides real-time information before a disaster occurs, during a disaster and after a disaster. The system has the potential to accelerate post-disaster recovery, especially for the business community.


Women Empowerment Programme

  1. ASEAN Weekend Market. After a successful event in 2023, this programme will be held again to increase the visibility and competitiveness of local fashion businesses.
  2. National Weaving Day. Kadin in collaboration with APPBI (Association of Indonesian Shopping Centre Managers) will conduct various activities to further socialise Indonesian woven products.
  3. Development of Women MSMEs through Cooperation with Pertamina. This programme focuses on increasing the capacity of women entrepreneurs to compete and advance their businesses. Pertamina has a regular programme every year related to capacity building of women entrepreneurs (PF preneurs coach series).


Sports Industry Programme

  1. Sports Industry Development through Integrated Activities. Together with the government, Kadin designs sports industry development activities and improves the quality of national sports industry human resources.
  2. Advocacy and Sports Industry Development Through Institutions. Kadin supports the establishment of a national sports industry association and advocates the implementation of Law No.86 of 2021 for the development of the national sports industry.
  3. Kadin Indonesia Sports Week. This programme is implemented to develop the sports industry, build synergy and solidarity of Kadin through integrated sports activities.
