However, land-use change and illegal activities continue to put immense pressure on its ecosystems\u2014bringing serious ecological, social, and economic consequences.<\/p>\n<p>Amid growing urgency for innovative conservation financing, Biodiversity Credit (BC) has emerged as a promising mechanism.
