Thus, Kadin appreciates the government's step in passing the Law on Maternal and Child Welfare (MCH Law) which provides opportunities for pregnant women to take maternity leave for up to 6 months.<\/p>\n
Investment in the welfare of mothers and children in the early days of life will have an impact on the development of good quality human resources, so that it can bring long-term benefits to the nation and state. By providing adequate protection and support to pregnant women and children, we can create a healthier, smarter, and more productive generation in the future towards a Golden Indonesia 2045.<\/p>\n
On the other hand, the impact of the MCH Law on the business world needs to be carefully considered. The business world sees that the adoption of this policy has several implementation challenges, especially related to human resource management and company performance.
