Supporting the Government in the \"One Village One Product\" Movement, Kadin Encourages the Community Economy through the Kadin Muara Enim Desaku Programme<\/p>\n
The Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) continues to encourage the development of regional economic potential through the Kadin Impact Award (KIA). Continuing the KIA judging series, Kadin Indonesia visited Muara Enim Regency, South Sumatra, to see the village-to-village micro, small and medium enterprise (MSME) empowerment programme initiated by Kadin Muara Enim. Through this \"Kadin Muara Enim Desaku\" programme, the process of exploring the potential, mentoring, and empowering MSMEs in villages in the Muara Enim Regency area is carried out intensively to encourage the creation of superior products in each village, where the judging is carried out by WKU for Regional Autonomy Development, Sarman Simanjorang and Chairman of the Standing Committee for Regional Legal Products and Licensing, Johan Tedja Surya.<\/p>\n
The Acting Chairman of Kadin Indonesia, Yukki Nugrahawan Hanafi, appreciated the efforts of Kadin Muara Enim in encouraging the local economy to be better through an inclusive and collaborative MSME empowerment programme. \"This is a form of synergy between provincial and district \/ city Kadin in improving the regional economy through strengthening MSMEs. We hope this programme can continue to run so as to create sustainable growth in Muara Enim Regency,\" he said.<\/p>\n
Chairman of Kadin South Sumatra, H Affandi Udji, revealed that the \"Kadin Muara Enim Desaku\" programme is in line with the government's \"One Village One Product\" programme, as stated in the Minister of Industry Regulation No. 78\/M-IND\/9\/2007. In order to support the \"One Village One Product\" programme, Kadin Muara Enim also wants to develop the potential of small and medium industries in a region to produce one typical local product with global class by utilising the surrounding resources. Thus, the village community does not only depend on natural products whose prices fluctuate, because they have become processed products that have higher economic value, \"said Affandi.<\/p>\n
Chairperson of the Desaku Muara Enim Programme, Ade Irwansyah, explained that this programme presents four mentoring and one training, namely Business Identification Number (NIB) Making Assistance, Food Safety Certification Training Assistance, Household Industry Food Letter (PIRT) Assistance, and Halal Certification Assistance and Digital Marketing Training.<\/p>\n
\"In addition to producing superior products on a global scale by utilising surrounding resources, we hope that this programme can absorb labour in the Muara Enim region, so that through this orchestration there is economic growth that has a direct impact on local and sustainable communities,\" he said.<\/p>\n
Through the \"Kadin Muara Enim Desaku\" programme, there are 88 superior products that are entering the modern market after receiving digital marketing training, assistance with access to capital, packaging, and marketing. In addition, through the assistance provided, there are 649 fostered MSMEs that receive assistance to have NIB, PIRT, halal certification, and business legality. This programme has also grown young entrepreneurs in Muara Enim with 500 new NIBs recorded. Until the end of 2022, the \"Kadin Muara Enim Desaku\" programme has provided guidance in 246 villages and created 1,983 fostered MSMEs.<\/p>\n
