Kadin Indonesia together with the Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Indonesia (Kemendag), Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia (Kemenag), and the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs (Kemenkop UKM) have succeeded in realizing the commitment contained in the memorandum of understanding regarding optimizing the role of small and medium enterprises in fulfilling Hajj and Umrah needs, by carrying out release of the first export of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in the form of canned tuna and seasonings to Saudi Arabia.<\/p>\n
Vice Chairman for International Relations, Bernardino Vega said, \u201cEntering the global market is not an easy thing. However, with the spirit of never giving up, hard work, and good cooperation between the government and employers, we managed to do it. And today, we celebrate our success together.\u201d<\/p>\n
The existence of this first export, according to Dino, is proof that high-quality Indonesian SMEs can compete in the global market.<\/p>\n
\"I thank all SME entrepreneurs who have worked hard in creating these high-quality products, so that we can export and be able to meet the needs of pilgrims in Saudi Arabia,\" said Dino.<\/p>\n
The exported SME products have been coordinated with the consumption sector aggregator, namely PT. Indonesian Portal Facility.<\/p>\n
\"I also thank the Indonesian government for all its support, including the Indonesian Kadin Hajj Task Force team, aggregator companies, and all parties who have helped and supported our SMEs in achieving this success,\" said Dino.<\/p>\n
The establishment of the Hajj Task Force Team is a form of Kadin Indonesia's seriousness in overseeing the hajj market. Kadin Indonesia is committed to continuing to support Indonesian SMEs and synergizing with relevant ministries and agencies within the scope of meeting the hajj needs.<\/p>\n
\"The Hajj Task Force team is tasked with providing coaching and counseling related to exports, as well as curating aggregators from members of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry,\" said Hendra Hartono, deputy chairman of the Hajj Task Force.<\/p>\n
\"Specifically, the collaboration between Kadin Indonesia and the Ministry of Religion also includes the provision of an UKM booth area at the Hajj embarkation,\" said Hendra.<\/p>\n
The first export release of SME products was witnessed by the Deputy Chairman of the Indonesian People's Consultative Assembly, Yandri Susanto, Deputy Minister of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia, Dr. H. Zainut Tauhid Sa'adi, M.S. and Special Staff of the Indonesian Ministry of Trade Hilal Hamdi.<\/p>\n
\"Hopefully this success will be the start of many successes to come, and hopefully our products can continue to be known throughout the world,\" concluded Dino.<\/p>\n
