Chairman of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN), Arsjad Rasjid together with the Pijar Foundation today officially launched the Kadin for Manpower platform which was witnessed by hundreds of labor representatives.<\/p>\n
Arsjad emphasized that the industrial revolution 4.0 which is filled with digital technology and automation can advance the industry, but has the potential to cause other disturbances, namely the replacement of human resources by technology that can increase production effectiveness and efficiency.<\/p>\n
\"So there are two things, how do we need to improve skills for workers or workforce in the industrial era 4.0 and also add skills if human resources must be changed by digital technology and automation,\" added Arsjad.<\/p>\n
Facing this, Kadin Indonesia created a special digital training platform for blue collar workers called Kadin for Naker. This digital platform is a collaboration between the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Confederation of Trade Unions or Workers and is supported by the Pijar Foundation. The aim of this digital training platform is to provide training and skills development that can be accessed by all workers in Indonesia from various sectors and industries.<\/p>\n
\"The existence of Kadin for Naker is expected to improve the skills of the workforce according to current industrial needs, so as to increase the link and match between the workforce and industrial needs,\" said Arsjad.<\/p>\n
Not only that, Arsjad explained that Kadin for Naker also provides opportunities for workers who wish to develop entrepreneurial skills. So that each family can now have two sources of income, namely the head of the household and his wife. That way, the family's welfare can increase because they have additional family income.<\/p>\n
As a representative of the national business and industrial sector, Kadin Indonesia is committed to improving the quality of Indonesia's human resources, especially in the field of employment. One of Kadin Indonesia's efforts in this regard is through the revitalization of vocational education and training.<\/p>\n
\"Perpres No. 68 of 2022 concerning Revitalization of Vocational Education and Training mandates the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry to implement the Indonesian National Work Competency Standards (SKKNI). Kadin for Naker is one part of the preparations to increase the capacity and skills of Indonesian workers,\" said Arsjad.<\/p>\n
Representatives of the Confederation of Trade Unions, Elly Rosita Silaban and Andi Gani Nena Wea expressed their appreciation for the efforts that have been made by Kadin Indonesia and the Pijar Foundation to continue to improve the skills of workers or workforce according to industry needs.<\/p>\n
\"We appreciate the attention and support for us workers and workforce to keep moving forward. Today is a historic day, because this is the first time that Kadin Indonesia has collaborated intensively with labours and workers. We are embraced and assisted to continue to develop our skills and abilities,\" said Elly.<\/p>\n
In line with Elly, Andi Gani Nena Wea also said that the Kadin for Naker digital platform is a gateway that can open opportunities for labours or workers to be able to become entrepreneurs. The growth of new entrepreneurs will greatly impact the growth of new jobs.<\/p>\n
The Kadin for Naker platform is also supported by the Pijar Foundation, a provider of educational and self-development platforms for students and professionals that have been developed on a national scale since 2019. Not only digital infrastructure, the Pijar Foundation also provides access to hundreds of classes taught by industry players as well as another classes that will be specifically opened for this Kadin for Naker program.<\/p>\n
In the Kadin for Naker platform, each worker will find various optional programs to increase worker capacity or skills, starting from language learning, developing skills needed to advance career paths, developing self-abilities, interest and aptitude tests. Going forward, this platform will also provide job market services that will bridge workers with job seekers.<\/p>\n
\"The talent gap, or the gap between workers abilities and industry needs, is one of the issues focused on by Pijar Foundation where in recent years, we have tried to provide solutions through the Future Skills platform which has touched tens of thousands of students and professionals. Through this collaboration with Kadin Indonesia, we hope to be able to help expand efforts to empower industry drivers and help accelerate Indonesia's economic development,\" said Ferro Ferizka, Executive Director of the Pijar Foundation.<\/p>\n
To be able to access various free programs at Kadin for Naker, workers must register at www.kadinfornaker.id. The requirements for registering are very easy, just write down your name and cell phone number, company origin and field of work, as well as labor union affiliation, then proceed with creating a password.<\/p>\n
The grand event for launching this digital platform was attended by at least hundreds of labor representatives from 20 labor unions and workers throughout Indonesia, were K-SPSI, K-SPSI 1973, K-SPI, KSBSI, MPBN K-SBDSI, K-SPN, K -SPBUMN, K-SARBUMUSI, K-SN, K-DPN SGBN, K-SPRNI, and KSPN.<\/p>\n
This event was also attended by the Deputy for Coordinating Education Quality Improvement and Religious Moderation of the Indonesian Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Culture, Prof. Warsito; Director General of Development of Industrial Relations and Workers' Social Security at the Ministry of Manpower, Indah Anggoro Putri; Director General of Vocational Training and Productivity Development of the Ministry of Manpower, Budi Hartawan; Director of Institutional and Prevention of Industrial Relations Disputes at the Ministry of Manpower, Heru Widianto; and Representatives of the Confederation of Labour Unions, Elly Rosita Silaban and Andi Gani Nena Wea.<\/p>\n
