Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison (Indosat) collaborated with the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) to hold the Kadin Tech Challenge program : Towards Golden Indonesia 2045.<\/p>\n
In this activity, program participants receive training to develop various systems, such as databases, web-based systems, or even in the form of applications. This program was held in three cities in Indonesia, Solo, Makassar and Medan and was attended by participants, students to freelancers.<\/p>\n
The program in Makassar City was held for two days, May 20-21 2023. Kadin Tech Challenge was attended by more than 300 participants who continued to the intermediate level. Later, half of those who reach this level will receive face-to-face training.<\/p>\n
Not only that, the graduation of this program will be held in August 2023 in line with the completion of the Kadin Tech Challenge and the 300 participants will automatically join the IDCamp alumni platform and Kadin Talent Hub. The IDCamp alumni program and Kadin Talent Hub will provide information on job vacancies, training offers, and other career programs according to the alumni's expertise.<\/p>\n
Indosat and Kadin Indonesia also invited Kadin 2023 IDCamp X participants to come up with various solutions in the Kadin Tech Challenge : Towards Golden Indonesia 2045 program. The three sectors that are the focus of problem solving are agriculture, fisheries and MSME empowerment. Participants have to contribute ideas and solutions through the products they create until August 2023.<\/p>\n
District Operation Head for Kalimantan Sulawesi Region, Rusdi Mardan said, developments in the digital economy sector are currently developing very rapidly. It is estimated that the circulation of money in this sector will reach IDR 4,800 trillion in 2030. This is considered to be a strength in Southeast Asia with almost 40 percent of its share.<\/p>\n
\"For this reason, Indosat as a digital telecommunication company with a bigger goal, connecting and empowering Indonesian people, invites the younger generation to adapt immediately, so that this growth must also be balanced with the development of Indonesia's digital talents,\" he said.<\/p>\n
\"Together with Kadin, we are committed to participating in facilitating the acceleration of this need through IDCamp x Kadin which will lead to employment in each city. From the incoming data, since IDCamp was first launched in 2019, there are at least more than 182,000 alumni who have taken part in a series of online learning. We will continue to push this program and become one of the sustainable programs of Indosat's CSR pillars\" Rusdi added.<\/p>\n
Deputy Chairman of Kadin for Communication and Informatics, Firlie H. Ganinduto said that they welcomed the collaborative program between Kadin Indonesia and Indosat to work together to realize the vision of Indonesia Gold 2045.<\/p>\n
\"Through the awarding of the IDCamp x Kadin 2023 scholarship program, it is hoped that digital talents will be developed in Indonesia. Furthermore, scholarship program participants from the Makassar area (and its surroundings) have the opportunity to directly apply the knowledge they have learned with the existing network of entrepreneurs in Makassar to be absorbed into a trained workforce,\" he hoped.<\/p>\n
In this program, Kadin Indonesia together with Indosat focuses on three sectors. One of these three sectors involves the fisheries sector, which plays a role in the Indonesian economy through increasing income, diversifying livelihoods, providing animal protein, and foreign exchange earnings.<\/p>\n
This sector contributes 3.1 percent of the total national gross domestic product (GDP) and 21.0 percent of the total agricultural GDP, creating around 6.4 million direct jobs for Indonesians. As well as the agricultural and MSME sectors which also have an important role in Indonesia's economic cycle.<\/p>\n
