Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison (Indosat) in collaboration with the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) held the Kadin Tech Challenge: Towards Golden Indonesia 2045 program. Program participants received training to develop various systems, be it in the form of databases, web-based systems, or even applications. This program was held in three cities in Indonesia, namely Solo, Makassar and Medan and was attended by participants from students to freelancers.<\/p>\n
The program in Medan was held face to face for two days, on May 27-28 2023. Kadin Tech Challenge was attended by more than 300 participants who continued to the intermediate level. Later, half of those who reach this level will receive face-to-face training. Graduation of this program will be held in August 2023 in line with the completion of the Kadin Tech Challenge and the 300 participants will automatically join the IDCamp alumni platform and Kadin Talent Hub. The IDCamp alumni program and Kadin Talent Hub will provide information on job vacancies, training offers, and other career programs according to the alumni's expertise.<\/p>\n
Indosat and Kadin Indonesia also invited IDCamp X Kadin 2023 participants to come up with various solutions in the Kadin Tech Challenge : Towards Golden Indonesia 2045 program. The three sectors that are the focus of problem solving are agriculture, fisheries and MSME empowerment. Participants have until August 2023 to contribute ideas and solutions through the products they create.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile Deputy Chairperson for Communication and Informatics at the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin), Firlie H. Ganinduto, said the collaboration program between KADIN and Indosat.<\/p>\n
\"We welcome the collaborative program between Kadin Indonesia and Indosat to work together to realize the vision of Indonesia Gold 2045 through the awarding of the IDCamp x Kadin 2023 scholarship program to develop digital talent in Indonesia. Furthermore, scholarship program participants from the Medan area (and its surroundings) have the opportunity to directly apply the knowledge they have learned with the existing employer network in Medan to be absorbed into a trained workforce,\" said Firlie H. Ganinduto.<\/p>\n
In this program, Kadin Indonesia together with Indosat focuses on three sectors. One of these three sectors involves the fisheries sector, which plays a role in the Indonesian economy through increasing income, diversifying livelihoods, providing animal protein, and foreign exchange earnings. This sector contributes 3.1% of the total national gross domestic product (GDP) and 21.0% of the total agricultural GDP, creating around 6.4 million direct jobs for Indonesians. As well as the agricultural and MSME sectors which also have an important role in Indonesia's economic cycle.<\/p>\n
