Dozens of Master Trainer Training participants held by the East Java Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin), Kadin Institute, IHK Trier Germany, GIZ Germany and S4C Swisscontact have completed the entire series and are ready to train and test workplace training.<\/p>\n
Kadin Institute Director Nurul Indah Susanti who also serves as Vice Chair for HR and Employment of Kadin East Java said, Master Trainer training is for preparing human resources capable of producing workplace trainers because the number in East Java is still very lacking.<\/p>\n
\"Currently East Java only has 7 Master Trainers. Meanwhile the need for vocations is extraordinary. We are moving all districts\/cities to carry out revitalization of vocational education and training according to the mandate of Presidential Decree 68\/2022,\" said Nurul at the closing of the Master Trainer Training at the Kadin Institute Building, Surabaya, Monday (12\/6\/2023).<\/p>\n
The existence of a Master Trainer, he continued, would help promote vocational revitalization in East Java and throughout Indonesia. So that the need is expected to continue to increase in line with the government's target of superior human resources in 2045.<\/p>\n
The Master Trainer Training held by the East Java Chamber of Commerce and Industry was attended by 13 participants, including representatives from PT PAL, PT. Charoen Pokphand Indonesia, PT Satoria Group, PG Rajawali I, PT. Indiratex Spindo, Malang Muhammadiyah University, Surabaya State University, Gresik Vocational House and East Java Education Office.<\/p>\n
\"From 7 people to 20 people and so on. This is a special moment in Indonesia because only East Java has implemented a Master Trainer with genuine involvement from East Java,\" he stated.<\/p>\n
The coordinator of the IHK Vocational Partnership Program (Kadin Trier Germany) Andreas Gosche said that the ongoing vocational education and training reform is a fairly long process. And the master trainer is one of the elements that is very necessary.<\/p>\n
\"We from IHT Trier Germany are very happy. Since several years ago we have started and are still committed to this day, especially with Kadin East Java because is the only Kadin that is consistent in implementing it,\" said Gosche.<\/p>\n
Assistant for the German Trier IHK Vocational Education and Training Partnership Program (KADIN) Mohamad Reza Nurhardyansyah added, adding the number of Master Trainers would make it easier for Kadin East Java to produce Workplace Trainers in the regions. Because the participants who are currently taking part are from various regions including Surabaya, Gresik, Pasuruan, Malang and Kediri.<\/p>\n
\"Some time ago, the Kadin East Java conducted Workplace Trainer training in Kediri, we have to bring in a Master Trainer from Surabaya. So, if there are around Kediri, it will be much easier to carry it out,\" said Reza.<\/p>\n
Because the Workplace Trainer is the heart of vocational implementation. \"This means that holding the Master Trainer training by Kadin East Java will accelerate the implementation of vocational education revitalization to create superior and competitive human resources,\" he emphasized.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, the participants also said they were very happy with the training. Head of PT PAL's Human Resources Management Bureau, Titiana Irawati, for example, admitted that this activity helped her. Because every year, there are hundreds of internship at PT PAL. \"Especially during the internship season from SMKs and polytechnics. It is one of our responsibilities to participate in building the nation through apprenticeships,\" he said.<\/p>\n
Through this training, he knows more systematically what to do during the apprenticeship and what the learning is like. Including later, when it comes to training workplace trainers. \"Because to be honest, not many workplace trainers who we call apprentice supervisors at PT PAL have received this knowledge. It has been planned in our training plan but has not been fully realized until now,\" he admitted.<\/p>\n
The General & Administration Director of PT Satoria Group, Enge Cristiana, said the same thing. According to her, this training provides many benefits. One thing that is in sight is that companies will have human resources capable of transmitting new knowledge from training to advance vocational implementation in companies.<\/p>\n
\"If this vocation continues to be implemented properly, then I am sure the company will get other benefits, one of which is the ease of recruitment. In terms of HR recruitment, it will definitely save costs because we have a large database,\" she said.<\/p>\n
The second benefit is that the company will be able to increase its productivity. \"If there is no vocational training at the company, then the human resources obtained are fresh graduated human resources who are not ready to work. With vocational training, new human resources will be born who will receive earlier training and gain additional knowledge so that they are ready to be used by companies,\" she said.<\/p>\n
Human Capital PT Charoen Pokphand Indonesia Cicik Ari Sucahyani added that vocation in Indonesia must be a concern for entrepreneurs and industry. \"From here I also understand that interns must be trained intensively at the company because the company will also benefit from recruiting workers,\" She concluded.<\/p>\n
