Palembang - Chairman of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce (Kadin) of South Sumatra, Affandi Udji and Head of the South Sumatra Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights, Dr. Ilham Djaya signed a Memorandum of Understanding on legal services for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in South Sumatra.
The MoU was signed at the opening of Kadin Expo 2023 at the Palembang Sports and Convention Centre (PSCC), on Friday (27/10/2023). The signing of the MoU was witnessed by PJ Governor of South Sumatra, Agus Fatoni and Plh. Chairman of Kadin Indonesia, Yukki N. Hanafi.
The scope of the MoU includes the implementation of socialisation and technical guidance in the field of Individual Companies and Intellectual Property to Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises assisted by Kadin South Sumatra, then the implementation of facilitation of registration of Individual Companies, and Registration of Intellectual Property of MSME products of KADIN South Sumatra members, as well as consultations on Individual Companies and Intellectual Property.
"This is one of the efforts of the South Sumatra Ministry of Law and Human Rights together with the South Sumatra Chamber of Commerce and Industry that we have agreed on, to help Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises in South Sumatra develop, and survive amid global competition," said Regional Head Ilham Djaya after the event.
The Regional Head of the South Sumatra Ministry of Law and Human Rights revealed that his office continues to be committed to encouraging ease of doing business for the people of South Sumatra. "So we will facilitate it, people only need to pay 50 thousand rupiah, they can already establish a business entity, namely an Individual Company," said Ilham.
He revealed that his party really welcomes collaboration with various parties in supporting business recovery and economic growth in South Sumatra after being affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.
Kadin Sumsel held Kadin Expo 2023 at the Palembang Sports and Convention Center (PSCC) on 27-29 October. This activity targets 10 thousand visitors, involving private companies, BMMN, BUMD, Banking and potential industries in South Sumatera.
