APEC Business Travel Card

ABTC stands for APEC Business Travel Card. APEC, The ABTC is a Business Travel Card that is valid in APEC member countries that implement the APEC Business Travel Card scheme. This includes 19 member countries, with the exception of the United States and Canada.

Benefits of Holding an ABTC:

  • Visa-free access to APEC economies, except for the United States and Canada

Requirements for Applying for an ABTC Recommendation Letter:

  1. A request letter addressed to the Executive Director of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, including the company letterhead, applicant’s details, the signature of the company’s authorized representative, and the company stamp
  2. A scanned copy of the applicant’s passport with a minimum validity of 2 years.
  3. A scanned copy of a valid 2026 Kadin Membership Card (KTA Kadin), where the name on the card must match the name of the applicant. 
  4. A scanned copy of the NIB
  5. A scanned copy of the latest ABTC (for ABTC renewal applications)
