About Kadin Indonesia

Kadin Indonesia was established on September 24, 1968, and designated by Law Number 1 of 1987 as the hub organization for business in the fields of state-owned enterprises, cooperatives, and private enterprises worldwide.

The business network of Kadin Indonesia covers all provinces and municipalities in Indonesia and encompasses business associations in all sectors of the economy.

Kadin's business network extends to provinces and regencies/cities throughout Indonesia. Kadin is home to business associations covering all business sectors. Kadin's extensive network of business contacts throughout the region makes Kadin a very attractive and strategic partner for business, trade and investment activities.

Our Vision

To make Kadin Indonesia the first and foremost choice in representing the voice and interests of the business sector and all stakeholders, with regard to the making and implementation of economic policies throughout Indonesia.

Why Kadin Indonesia?

Based on Law Number 1 of 1987 stipulates that the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) is a forum for all Indonesian entrepreneurs both in the field of state business, cooperative business and private business. Kadin Indonesia acts as a forum and vehicle for guidance, communication, information, representation, consultation, facilitation and advocacy of Indonesian entrepreneurs.

Kadin Indonesia will help its members to improve entrepreneurial skills, verifying business entities, provide assistance in expanding business opportunities both domestically and globally, including other related matters.

4 types of Kadin membership: 

  1. Ordinary Member: Indonesian Entrepreneur or Company.
  2. Members of Micro and Ultra Micro Enterprises: Kadin members other than ordinary members (AB) and extraordinary members (ALB) consisting of Indonesian entrepreneurs or companies whose status as micro and ultra-micro enterprises is determined by laws and regulations.
  3. Extraordinary Member (ALB): Entrepreneur's Organisation and Company Organisation.
  4. Extraordinary Members of Record (ALBT): A combination of national level Extraordinary Members (ALB) which do not yet have the rights and obligations of an ALB.

The benefits of joining Kadin Indonesia: 

  1. Access to information regarding business opportunities both domestically and globally.
  2. Access to information regarding other Kadin Indonesia members' company data/fields of business.
  3. Opportunities to participate in education and training, exhibitions, trade missions, seminars/panel discussions/workshops, business contacts, etc.
  4. Receive guidance, assistance, and legal protection as needed.
  5. Provision of useful certificates to smoothen the business, such as certificates of good performance, recommendation letters to support company business activities, and other related membership certificates from Kadin Indonesia.
  6. Facilitation of domestic and global business relations, such as the facilitation of APEC Business Travel Cards and visa recommendations.
  7. Facilitation of the issuance of recommendations for Certificates of Origin and legalization of foreign business activity documents, subject to applicable terms and conditions.
