The Board Members of the Standing Committee for Fiscal and Public Policy of Kadin Indonesia held a meeting with the Director General of Customs and Excise of the Republic of Indonesia, Askolani, to discuss a number of strategic policies, including the implementation of excise tax on sugar-sweetened beverages in packs (MBDK) and plastic, enforcement of cigarette restrictions up to 20 cigarettes per pack, prohibition of the use of addictive substances in cigarettes, strengthening the MSME sector in the context of export and domestic markets, and the projection of the creation of a joint-podcast between Kadin Indonesia and the Directorate General of Customs and Excise (DGCE) on Wednesday, (22/11/2023).
