I Made Ariandi Re-elected, Kadin Bali’s 8th Provincial Meeting Reaffirms Mutual Cooperation Toward Golden Indonesia 2045

Badung, Bali – The Bali Provincial Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin Bali) held its 8th Provincial Deliberation Meeting (Musprov VIII) under the theme “Strengthening the Synergy of Mutual Cooperation to Achieve Economic Self-Reliance Toward Golden Indonesia 2045” at Aryaduta Hotel, Kuta, Badung, Bali, on Friday (December 12, 2025).

During the Musprov, I Made Ariandi was unanimously re-elected as Chairman of Kadin Bali Province for the 2025–2030 term.

Vice Chairman for Organizational Affairs of Kadin Indonesia Taufan Eko Nugroho, who attended the event representing Chairman of Kadin Indonesia Anindya Novyan Bakrie, said the Musprov theme aligns closely with Kadin’s core values. Taufan highlighted Bali’s substantial MSME potential, noting that the province is home to approximately 450,000 MSMEs as of the end of 2024.

“This is a giant potential that must be managed collectively,” Taufan said.

Taufan explained that Kadin Indonesia has strengthened its organizational role through various memoranda of understanding (MoUs) with ministries, including the Ministry of Home Affairs, to promote synergy in regional economic development and investment.

“We ask Kadin Bali to fully utilize this legal framework,” Taufan stressed.

The cooperation includes the formulation of investment policies, MSME empowerment, and regional investment promotion to accelerate licensing processes and stimulate local economic growth. In addition, Kadin has signed an MoU with the Ministry of Forestry to encourage sustainable investment and the development of forest village–based ecotourism.

Taufan added that in the agricultural sector, through cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture, Kadin is encouraged to optimize agricultural potential, particularly in Bali Province, which contributes significantly to regional Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP).

Furthermore, he emphasized the importance of integrating agriculture and tourism to ensure a more efficient supply chain that benefits local farmers.

“Ensure that 100 percent of raw material supplies for hotels, restaurants, and the Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) program are sourced from local farmers and livestock breeders in Bali Province. Directly connect farmers in Bedugul, Kintamani, and Jembrana to the market, and cut supply chains that are detrimental,” Taufan asserted.

Taufan also encouraged Kadin Bali Province to become a pioneer of custom-based green economy initiatives and a driving force in improving the quality of human resources.

“The human resource revolution is also Kadin’s responsibility, by passing it on to the younger generation,” Taufan concluded.

Meanwhile, newly re-elected Chairman of Kadin Bali Province I Made Ariandi reaffirmed Kadin’s role as a strategic partner of the government, especially amid ongoing discussions on the Kadin Bill at the national level.

“Kadin is the only association operating in the economic sector and serves as an umbrella for many associations under it,” he said.

He also emphasized the need to expand private sector involvement in national development projects.

“If all government projects or activities are executed solely by state-owned enterprises, the private sector will be left out. To become a strong nation, the government must provide opportunities for the private sector,” he concluded.

Among those in attendance were Chairman of Kadin West Nusa Tenggara Province Faurani, Coordinating Vice Chairman for the Bali, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), East Nusa Tenggara (NTT), Maluku, and North Maluku (Balinusamatra) Region Amirullah Abbas, and Executive Director of Kadin Indonesia Pipin Moh. Saeful Arifin.
