The Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) is an organization that accommodates all business actors in Indonesia, both large and small scale, engaged in the state business sector, cooperatives, and private. The Chamber of Commerce and Industry is present as a single representation of the Indonesian business world in bridging the interests of entrepreneurs with the government and other stakeholders.
Established under Law No. 1 of 1987 concerning the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the organization's primary task is to gather, foster, represent, and advocate for the interests of the business world in a comprehensive, integrated, and sustainable manner, all with the aim of strengthening the national economy.
As an independent and non-profit organization, Kadin is a strategic partner to the government in efforts to create a healthy, competitive, and equitable business climate throughout Indonesia.
