Vice Chairman of Kadin Indonesia for Organisation Eka Sastra, Chairman of Kadin Central Kalimantan Rahmat Nasution Hamka, Bilateral Committee of Kadin China Untyas Anggraeni, and Vice Chairman of Kadin Central Kalimantan Leo Adano attended the 20th CAEXPO and China-ASEAN Business Investment Summit (CABIS) at Osmanthus Hall, Nanning International Convention and Exhibition Center (NICEC), Nanning, Guangxi Autonomous Region, China (17/9/2023). CAEXPO and CABIS are forums and expos that serve as a platform to bring together business stakeholders from China and ASEAN countries to establish prospective business relationships, and explore opportunities in the trade and investment sectors. The event, which is held annually in accordance with the agreement reached at the 7th Summit of the China-ASEAN Free Trade Area (CAFTA) in 2003, aims to encourage the absorption of ASEAN products in China and increase investment between the two parties. Throughout 2022, the trade volume between China and ASEAN has reached USD 940 billion or equivalent to IDR 15,525 trillion.
