Vice Chairman of Kadin Indonesia for International Relations, Bernardino M Vega met with the Director General of Asia-Pacific at the Mexican Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Fernando Gonzalez Saiffe, on Monday (28/8/2023). Both parties agreed to continue the dialogue to discuss potential cooperation in the EV Value Chain Strategy sector in order to encourage the success of the EV transition in both Indonesia and Mexico. According to data from BloombergNEF 2022, EV sales in Mexico have reached 28,800 units and are expected to increase to 180,000 units by 2025.
