Chairman of Kadin Indonesia, Arsjad Rasjid received a visit from the Chairman of the Turkish Council for Foreign Economic Relations (DEIK), İlhan Erdal at Kadin Indonesia Tower (6/9/2023). The meeting discussed business cooperation in strategic sectors such as basic electronics, food industrial complex, wood processing, and technology. In addition, investment in toll roads was also discussed, which has the potential to improve the connectivity of the transport and logistics sectors of the two countries. In 2022, the governments of Indonesia and Turkey formalised the establishment of the High Level Strategic Council (HLSC) to strengthen the partnership that has been running since 1920. The establishment of the HLSC was also driven by the trade volume between Indonesia and Turkey, which reached USD 2 billion in 2021 and tends to increase.
