Kadin Indonesia's Pacific Islands Bilateral Committee met with the Fiji delegation to discuss business opportunities in sectors that have the potential to benefit both countries (4/10/2023). In the near future, Kadin Indonesia plans to schedule a visit to Fiji. The volume of trade between Indonesia and Fiji continues to increase significantly. In the first semester of 2022, trade transactions between the two countries have reached USD 20 million. Indonesia's main export commodities to Fiji include tobacco, soap, machinery, cereals, oil, paper, and salt, while Indonesia imports fruits, nuts, seeds, cocoa powder, leather, equipment, and machinery related to the agriculture, plantation, and forestry sectors.
