Kadin Indonesia with the Indonesian Forest Entrepreneurs Association (APHI) and the Embassy of Finland to Indonesia organised a 'Smart Forest Forum' to discuss sustainability principles and bio-economic innovations used by Finland in forest management (21/8/2023). Through this forum, Kadin Indonesia hopes to adopt the sustainable principles and innovations that have been successfully implemented to support the National Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMN) 2025-2029. Reflecting on Finland's success, the Indonesian government has now started a sustainable economy with the regenerative Multi Forestry Business (MUK) programme. Finland is an example of a country that is successful in managing forest conservation and renewable energy resources. Most of Finland's commercially used forests have also been utilised and regenerated.
