In the current era of climate change, the importance of adopting sustainability principles has become increasingly urgent. Various surveys in a number of countries by various institutions have shown that effective implementation of sustainability principles and ESG aspects into business models and decision-making processes can have a direct and indirect positive impact on business sustainability. However, the integration of sustainability in Indonesia still needs to be strengthened in various aspects.
In line with this, Kadin Indonesia participated in PwC Indonesia's Town Hall themed “ESG Updates: The Business Perspectives” as a platform to explore new ideas and encourage innovation to accelerate sustainability integration in various industrial sectors, and various levels of business actors.
This is done to strengthen commitment to sustainability and develop strategies that can help businesses and the Government of Indonesia to respond to various ESG issues both at the national and global levels to build stakeholder and investor confidence. The Town Hall was held on Tuesday, June 11, 2024 and involved around 200 consulting teams ranging from Manager, Senior Manager, Directors, and Partners levels.
