Kadin Indonesia Launches Business Dispute Mediation Agency Service

Business development and market complexity in the digital era require services that are efficient and effective in various ways including business dispute resolution. Currently, business dispute resolution is generally carried out through litigation and arbitration processes. In addition to these two processes, business dispute resolution can be done through mediation. As an umbrella for business actors, Kadin Indonesia is committed to carrying out its mandate, including in providing alternative business dispute resolution services in the form of mediation through the Kadin Indonesia Business Dispute Mediation Institute which was launched on May 8, 2024.

Kadin Indonesia's Business Dispute Mediation Institute provides alternative business dispute resolution services that prioritize efficiency, effectiveness and professionalism for the business world.

Kadin Mediation Institute was initially established on June 30, 2011 in order to provide mediation services, organize mediator candidate training, accredit and certify mediators, and collaborate with national and international mediation institutions. In order to strengthen business dispute mediation services for businesses, especially through the adoption of technology and international networks, Kadin Indonesia currently presents certified mediators with business backgrounds.

There are two services offered by Kadin Indonesia's Business Dispute Mediation Institute, namely commercial mediation, pro bono mediation for micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) that have been curated according to standards, as well as coaching services in the form of mediator training and mediator certification and accreditation.

All of these services are necessary in Indonesia's highly dynamic business ecosystem. Kadin Indonesia's Business Dispute Mediation Institute can be utilized by all Kadin members and Indonesian entrepreneurs, from small, medium to large scale.
