Launch of WikiExport Advanced Programme: ‘Technology to Enhance Indonesian MSME Exports’

In line with the government's focus on providing guidance and assistance for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to penetrate the global market, Kadin Indonesia has developed a series of MSME export programmes as a legacy of the B20 (G20) programme under Indonesia's leadership. One of the flagship programmes is WikiExport Japan in collaboration with PT HM Sampoerna Tbk and the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO).

The programme has successfully brought export-ready MSME players to participate in business matching in 2023 by generating transactions of USD 1 million or IDR 16.1 billion. In the future, this joint collaboration will also continue to be complemented by increasing capacity and quality in accordance with the MSME export market in order to increase the absorption of Indonesian MSME exports in the Japanese market.

In order to continue cooperation with Japan and in line with Presidential Decree (Keppres) Number 24 of 2023 and Decree of the Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs (Kepmenko) Number 416 of 2023, Kadin Indonesia again together with PT HM Sampoerna Tbk and JETRO launched the next phase of the WikiExport programme: ‘Technology to Increase Exports of Indonesian MSMEs’.

The programme launch event was held on:
Monday, July 22 2024
At Jakarta Convention Center (JCC), Assembly Hall, Jakarta

Wiki Export, which focuses on globally competitive capacity building programmes, has become an end-to-end export information platform for MSMEs.
