Bogor, West Java - The 8th Provincial Conference (Musprov VIII) of the West Java Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) officially appointed Almer Faiq Rusydi as Chairman of Kadin West Java for the 2025–2030 term.
The appointment was made by acclamation during Musprov VIII, held at Podium Plaza Ekalokasari, Bogor City, on the evening of Wednesday, September 24, 2025.
The conference coincided with the 57th anniversary of Kadin Indonesia and was attended by West Java Governor Dedi Mulyadi, Kadin Indonesia Vice Chairman for Organizational Affairs Taufan Eko Nugroho Rotorasiko, as well as leaders of Kadin city and district branches from across West Java.
“Alhamdulillah, through a very dynamic process, a consensus was reached to appoint Almer Faiq Rusydi as Chairman of Kadin West Java. This was made possible thanks to the unity and togetherness of Kadin members from cities and regencies across the province,” said Taufan Eko Nugroho Rotorasiko, familiarly known as Taufan.
Taufan emphasized the importance of synergy between Kadin and regional governments, particularly in supporting national economic growth.
“We expect active participation from West Java entrepreneurs to help achieve the 8 percent economic growth target set by President Prabowo Subianto. Kadin must be ready to provide solutions to existing economic challenges,” he added.
The newly elected Chairman, Almer Faiq Rusydi, expressed his commitment to building a solid and inclusive organizational structure.
“Our immediate agenda is to form the new board together with the selection committee. We will prioritize the values of unity and collaboration among entrepreneurs in West Java so that Kadin can serve as a strategic partner to the local government,” Almer stated.
Addressing past dualism issues in some regions, Almer stressed that a consensus-based and familial approach would be key to resolution.
“We will mitigate dualism through dialogue and consensus-building so that all elements within Kadin can unite,” he affirmed.
Almer also highlighted the crucial role of Kadin West Java in attracting investment to the province.
“As Governor Dedi Mulyadi emphasized, we should not just be spectators. Entrepreneurs must actively engage in development and collaborate with the West Java Provincial Government,” he concluded.
In addition to Taufan, the event was attended by several other senior Kadin Indonesia officials, including Mulyadi Jayabaya Coordinating Vice Chairman for Food, who officially opened the conference, Nita Yudi Coordinating Vice Chairwoman for Social Affairs, Widiyanto Saputro Vice Chairman for Membership, Andi Yuslim Patawari Vice Chairman for the Kalimantan Region.
