Gorontalo - Good news for business actors under the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) of Gorontalo Province. PT Garuda Indonesia (Persero) Tbk is offering a flight ticket discount of up to 20 percent for active members of Kadin Gorontalo, applicable for both business and personal travel.

This program is part of the cooperation between Garuda Indonesia and the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin Indonesia), which is now being implemented at the regional level, including in Gorontalo.

Ramda Datau, Deputy Chairperson for Organizational Affairs, Inter-Institutional and Regional Relations at Kadin Gorontalo, said that the partnership would significantly support the mobility of members who frequently travel for business to Jakarta and other major cities.

“This is not just about discounted fares, but also a tangible form of support for the sustainability of our national aviation industry,” he said during a meeting with Garuda Indonesia representatives at the Kadin Gorontalo Secretariat Office on Friday, August 29, 2025.

Meanwhile, Hasan Basri, General Manager of Garuda Indonesia Gorontalo Branch, explained that active Kadin members are entitled to ticket discounts for both domestic and international Garuda Indonesia flights.

“This benefit also extends to their spouses,” Hasan added.

With this collaboration, it is expected that Kadin Gorontalo members can optimize their business activities while simultaneously contributing to the sustainability of Indonesia’s aviation industry.

The meeting was also attended by several Kadin Gorontalo board members, including Syamsul Bachri Umar (Deputy Chairperson for Trade and Industry), Andi K. Ma’ruf (Deputy Chairperson for Tourism, Culture, and Creative Economy), and Iqbal Baga (Deputy Chairperson for Health and Processed Food Industry).
