Diana Dewi Kembali Pimpin Kadin Jakarta

The XIVth Provincial Deliberation (Musprov) of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce (Kadin) Jakarta was officially held to submit an accountability report, establish an organisational program, and elect the Chairman of Kadin Jakarta for the 2024-2029 period. The event was officially opened by the Chairman of Kadin Indonesia, Arsjad Rasjid at Tribrata Darmawangsa, Jakarta (11/8/2024).

The Musprov determined that Diana Dewi was re-elected as Chairman of Kadin Jakarta for the 2024-2029 period.

Arsjad said Kadin is the only organisation or strategic partner of the government that has an important role in advancing the country's economy.

"The private sector also plays an important role in the nation's economy. Kadin must be able to maximise regional potential in harmony with the regional government. when it comes to Jakarta, the economy in Jakarta will not run out. Jakarta is the biggest contributor to the country's economy," he said.

Arsjad said entrepreneurs, especially in Jakarta, must be able to create a positive domino effect and be a role model for other regional Kadin.

"They must be able to embrace investors to build the country's economy. As the driving force of the industry in Jakarta, we must be able to ensure the potential is in accordance with the conditions of Jakarta," said Arsjad.

Diana Dewi said that the Jakarta Kadin Musprov is very important to generate ideas and innovations to advance the Indonesian economy, especially Jakarta, which is no longer a capital city but a global city.

"We are trying to trigger our business friends to do business well and always think out of the box, not always thinking about profit but also being socially responsible to the community. The capital may move but Jakarta is still a favourite," he said.
