Pangkalpinang – The Bangka Belitung (Babel) Provincial Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin Babel) held its 5th Provincial Conference (Musprov) under the theme “Kadin Babel Synergizing in Economic Transformation and Mutual Cooperation to Expand Employment Opportunities Toward Babel Emas 2045.” The event took place at Tanjung Pesona Hotel Sungailiat, Pangkalpinang, Bangka Belitung Province, on Wednesday (December 10, 2025).
Chairman of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin Indonesia), Anindya Novyan Bakrie, emphasized that Kadin Babel plays a strategic role as one of the key frontliners of national economic growth.
“This strong and strategic cooperation and partnership will produce an economy that does not rely solely on mining, but also on tourism, agriculture, and fisheries, thereby bringing greater prosperity to the people of Bangka Belitung,” said Anindya, who is familiarly known as Anin.
Anin added that the outcomes of the 2025 National Leadership Meeting (Rapimnas) of Kadin Indonesia, held on December 1–2, 2025, reaffirmed the organization’s focus on three main agendas: job creation, investment, and trade.
“All of this is expected to bring prosperity to the entire nation. Business players certainly want to be the main drivers of economic growth, especially through strong partnerships with governors and regional governments,” Anin continued.
The 5th Musprov of Kadin Babel elected Ritchie Glen Yapranadi as Chairman of Kadin Babel for the 2025–2030 term. He was elected by acclamation and officially inaugurated by Kadin Indonesia Chairman Anindya Novyan Bakrie.
On that occasion, Anin highlighted the importance of economic transformation in Bangka Belitung, shifting from reliance on the tin mining sector toward more sustainable industries.
“The consensus-based deliberation that resulted in this inauguration reflects a democratic process and leadership that is recognized by all parties,” Anin stated.
Meanwhile, Ritchie Glen expressed his commitment to strengthening synergy between Kadin Babel, in particular, and the Bangka Belitung Provincial Government to accelerate regional economic growth. According to him, Kadin is ready to support job creation while accelerating economic transformation amid the decline of mineral-sector activities.
“We are ready to work in synergy with the regional government, facilitate investment inflows, ease business operations, and ensure that local communities gain added value,” he said.
On the same day, Kadin Babel also organized the 2025 Affordable Food Movement (Gerakan Pangan Murah) on Jalan Sudirman, Sungailiat, Bangka Regency. Basic food packages containing rice, sugar, and cooking oil were sold at an affordable price of IDR 50,000.
Following the event, the Musprov series continued with the inauguration of Kadin’s Quick Wins Program, namely the Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) – Gotong Royong Kadin, located on Jalan Imam Bonjol, Parit Padang, Sungailiat, as well as another Quick Wins initiative: the Renovation of Uninhabitable Houses (RTLH) – Gotong Royong Kadin Babel in the Jelitik, Rambak area.
Anin expressed his appreciation for the strong public enthusiasm and the tangible social contributions made by Kadin Babel through these initiatives.
“Hopefully, what we have done can provide real benefits for the community,” Anin concluded.
The series of events was attended by members of the Kadin Indonesia executive board, including Coordinating Vice Chairman for Organization, Communication, and Regional Empowerment (OKP) Erwin Aksa; Vice Chairman for Organization Taufan Eko Nugroho; former Chairman of Kadin Babel for the 2020–2025 term and Vice Chairman for Strategic Infrastructure Development, Rural Development, and Transmigration Thomas Jusman; as well as Head of the MBG Gotong Royong Kadin Task Force, Chandra Tirta Wijaya.
