Eradicating corruption is an important part that must be continuously pursued in order to bring the nation and state to be more advanced.
One of the efforts that will be carried out is mapping the risks of corruption and observing the progress of efforts to prevent corruption in Indonesia through the Integrity Assessment Survey (SPI). In this case, the DKI Jakarta Provincial Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN) supports the SPI which will be carried out by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK).
"The DKI Jakarta Chamber of Commerce and Industry supports and recommends the KPK in connection with increasing the effectiveness of corruption prevention in Indonesia through the Integrity Assessment Survey (SPI)," said Diana Dewi, General Chair of the Jakarta Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in a press statement, Saturday (24/6/2023).
Diana considered that this activity was very important to do considering the high level of corruption is a disease that can kill the economic pulse for the development of the nation and state.
For Diana, actually preventing corruption is not only the duty and effort of the KPK, but also the involvement of the wider community. In addition, it takes our determination and hard work together.
"We appreciate a real result from this activity in supporting the implementation of the SPI activity," he said.
Diana also hopes that this survey activity will also receive support from all parties to really make the best use of it and carry it out in a comfortable, open and objective manner because the confidentiality of the respondent's data is always well maintained.
As is known, Indonesia's Corruption Perception Index (CPI) last year was ranked 110 out of 180 countries in the world, based on Transparency International Data, which was released on January 31, 2023. This ranking has decreased from the previous year, namely in 96th place, even in 2019, with a score of 40, Indonesia was in 85th place.
