Kadin Dorong Kolaborasi Swasta dalam Akselerasi Program MBG untuk Atasi Stunting

Jakarta - The Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin Indonesia), together with PT Carmel Trijaya Abadi and PT Dana Aguna Nusantara, officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at the Kadin Indonesia Tower in South Jakarta on Wednesday, September 24, 2025.

This collaboration aims to reduce stunting and improve the quality of human resources in Indonesia.

Kadin continues to promote the active role of the business sector in national development through one of its strategic Quick Wins programs, namely the Gotong Royong Free Nutritious Meal Program (MBG Gotong Royong).

Amirullah Abbas, Vice Chairman for the regions of Bali, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), East Nusa Tenggara (NTT), Maluku, and North Maluku at Kadin Indonesia, explained that the partnership adopts a tripartite scheme involving financing, goods providers, and implementing foundations to find innovative solutions ensuring the effectiveness and accountability of the MBG Gotong Royong program implementation on the ground.

In this collaboration, PT Dana Aguna Nusantara will provide financing for kitchen equipment, which will be delivered directly by PT Carmel Trijaya Abadi to SPPG kitchens. These kitchens are expected to supply 3,000 nutritious meals per day for a month, with direct support from implementing foundations carefully selected by Kadin.

“So ladies and gentlemen, you don’t need to worry. Your funds will go to Mr. Ronald (Director of PT Carmel Trijaya Abadi), and Mr. Ronald will deliver the equipment. Once it reaches our kitchens, we’ll ensure the supply of 3,000 meals every day for a month,” Amir emphasized.

Amir also stressed that all parties involved will be monitored through a virtual account system and a dedicated monitoring team from Kadin to ensure smooth installment payments, kitchen operations, and food quality control.

“We will set up virtual accounts with specific monthly installment amounts to be paid directly to you, and we will oversee the entire process,” he added.

The MBG Gotong Royong program is being developed in collaboration with social foundations, financing institutions, equipment providers, and local governments. The short-term goal is to establish 1,000 active MBG Gotong Royong kitchens across Indonesia.

Meanwhile, in his remarks, Patrick Gunadi, Director of PT Dana Aguna Nusantara, expressed his appreciation for Kadin’s well-structured strategic collaboration and affirmed support in the form of up to IDR 10 billion in funding through a Securities Crowdfunding (SCF) mechanism to connect entrepreneurs and social projects with retail and institutional investors.

“With the SCF mechanism, we can directly showcase the business objects and attract investment whether from retail investors or institutional investors up to IDR 10 billion,” said Patrick.

Also attending the MoU signing were Faurani, Chairman of the NTB Provincial Kadin; Desi Arianti, Regional Coordinator for the MBG Gotong Royong Task Force at Kadin Indonesia; and Ronald, Director of PT Carmel Trijaya Abadi.
