Vice Chairman of Kadin for Public Works, Housing and Construction, Insannul Kamil received CoST representative Brook Horowitz to discuss the anti-corruption instruments that CoST is developing.

CoST-the Infrastructure Transparency Initiative is a London-based multi-stakeholder organisation designed to promote transparency and accountability in publicly financed development.

CoST has been working with several countries including Indonesia over the past few years. One of CoST's ongoing projects is the "Galvanising the Private Sector as Partners in Combatting Corruption project" funded by the US Department of State.

The aim of the project is to develop a set of innovative anti-corruption instruments for practitioners in the infrastructure sector where Indonesia is one of the pilot projects.

During the meeting, several topics were discussed, including:

• Developments in the legal, regulatory and business environment in the infrastructure sector
• Incentives and barriers to reducing corruption in the infrastructure sector
• Reforms and measures being taken to reduce corruption
• Experiences and ideas on innovative tools that can help reduce corruption
