Kadin Indonesia and the National Resilience Institute (Lemhannas) Finalize Preparations for the 2025 Kadin Retreat in Magelang

Jakarta – The Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin Indonesia) held a follow-up meeting on the 2025 Kadin Retreat with the National Resilience Institute (Lemhannas) at the Lemhannas Headquarters in Central Jakarta on Thursday, July 3, 2025.

The meeting was attended by Widiyanto Saputro, Vice Chairman for Membership at Kadin Indonesia; Commissioner General Panca Putra, Principal Secretary of Lemhannas RI; Major General Arnold Aristoteles Paplapna Ritiauw, Governor of the Military Academy (Akmil); Brigadier General Dedy Zulkifli, Director of General Affairs at Akmil; and Pipin Moh Saiful Arifin, Executive Director of Kadin Indonesia.

Widiyanto Saputro explained that the meeting focused on forming a joint organizing committee involving Lemhannas RI, Kadin Indonesia, the Military Academy (Akmil), and Lembah Tidar Indonesia, to coordinate the retreat scheduled to take place at the Akmil campus in Magelang.

“We hope this initiative will become a platform for cultivating economic warriors in support of the government’s Asta Cita vision, grounded in national values. That could very well be the theme — building economic warriors with a spirit of nationalism,” said Widiyanto.

He further stated that the Kadin Retreat aims to strengthen unity and cohesion among Kadin leaders across the country and align the entrepreneurial community in support of the government's target of 8% economic growth.

“We aim to solidify the leadership across Kadin. The retreat will bring together Kadin executives from all provinces, heads of provincial chambers, various associations, and the national Kadin leadership. We hope this agenda will unify perspectives among our business leaders,” he added.

Meanwhile, Brigadier General Dedy Zulkifli confirmed that the 2025 Kadin Retreat is scheduled to be held from August 7 to 11, 2025, at the Military Academy in Magelang.

“It was mentioned during the meeting that the expected number of participants could reach up to 250, both men and women. We have held internal discussions and coordination meetings to prepare the venue, activities, and necessary facilities. In principle, we are fully committed to supporting the smooth execution of this event by Kadin and to contributing positively — both to the Military Academy and to the Magelang community as a whole,” said Dedy.
