A number of entrepreneurs who are members of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) attended the inauguration of the handover of the position of Minister of Investment from Bahlil Lahadalia who has served since October 2019 to Rosan Perkasa Roeslani (19/8/2024).

Rosan officially replaced Bahlil Lahadalila, who will replace Arifin Tasrif as Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) through an inauguration held at the State Palace, Jakarta.

Kadin Indonesia Chairman Arsjad Rasjid said that his party is ready to collaborate and support the ministers and agency heads in carrying out their duties in encouraging national economic growth.

The business world supports the stability of the elected government's transition to maintain a conducive business climate so as to provide certainty for businesses and investors to run the wheels of the national economy.

"We believe that with strong synergy and cooperation between the government and the business world, Indonesia will be more resilient in facing global challenges and continue to work together for an advanced Indonesia, especially achieving 8% economic growth and the vision of a Golden Indonesia 2045," Arsjad said.

Rosan Perkasa Roeslani is an Indonesian businessman who built and manages an investment company called Recapital Advisors (1997). He was ranked 87th richest Indonesian by Forbes in 2021 with a wealth of USD 450 million.

Rosan has also acquired Italian Football Club Inter Milan with Erick Thohir and Handy Soetedjo. he also served as Chairman of Kadin Indonesia for the 2015-2020 period.

He is also the Chief de Mission (CDM) of the Indonesian Contingent for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, Indonesian Ambassador to the United States (2021 - 2023), and Deputy Minister of SOEs (2023).

Currently, Rosan P. Roeslani is being tasked by President and Vice President-elect Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka to establish an organisation called Gerakan Solidaritas Nasional (GSN).
