Chairman of Kadin Indonesia, Arsjad Rasjid inaugurated the Chairman of Kadin West Sumatra, Buchari Bachter, and the Kadin West Sumatra Executive Board for the period 2022-2027 to coincide with the Provincial Leadership Meeting (Rapimprov) held at Hotel Santika Padang, Wednesday (12/7/2023).

On that occasion, Arsjad Rasjid congratulated the board, and hoped that the entrepreneurs of West Sumatra could become warrior entrepreneurs in development.

Arsjad appreciated that West Sumatra still achieved economic growth of 4.80% in Q1 2023. According to him, West Sumatera has abundant tourism potential, namely; the beauty of natural resources, a variety of culinary and cultural wealth that continues to maintain its existence.

"For this reason, it is very important to collaborate with all parties in increasing investment to develop existing tourism," he said.

Chairman of Kadin West Sumatra, Buchari Bachter said that with the inauguration of the management of Kadin West Sumatra as a result of the Musprov in September 2022, it will further strengthen the existence of Kadin West Sumatra.

"Kadin Sumbar is ready to collaborate and synergise with all parties, especially with the West Sumatra Provincial Government to build the beloved Ranah Minang," said Buchari in his speech after being inaugurated.

In addition to Arsjad Rasjid, also present during the inauguration ceremony were Governor of West Sumatra Mahyeldi Ansyarullah, Deputy Chairman of the West Sumatra DPRD Suwirpen Suib alias Pen Banio, Deputy Chairmen of Kadin Indonesia including Insannul Kamil, Carmelita Hartoto, Eka Sastra, Denon Prawiraatmadja and Kukrit Suryo Wicaksono.
