President Prabowo Receives 12 Global CEOs in Washington, D.C., Strengthens Strategic Investment Partnerships

President Prabowo Subianto met with 12 leaders of global investment firms as part of his working visit to Washington, D.C., United States, on Friday, February 20, 2026. The investors are CEOs and presidents of leading international investment companies, with total combined assets under management (AUM) of approximately US$15 trillion.

Minister of Investment and Downstreaming/Head of BKPM, who also serves as CEO of Danantara, Rosan Perkasa Roeslani, stated that the meeting, initially scheduled for one hour, lasted nearly two hours due to what he described as a highly constructive discussion.

“The discussion lasted about two hours, although it was initially expected to run for only one hour, because it was very fruitful and very productive,” Rosan told reporters following the meeting.

During the session, President Prabowo outlined the direction of Indonesia’s national economic policy, measures to strengthen the investment climate, and the government’s commitment to maintaining stability and legal certainty. The dialogue then continued in one-on-one meetings with each company leader to explore further cooperation opportunities.

Rosan explained that Danantara’s presence received positive appreciation from the global investors. They see Danantara as having strong potential to become a strategic local partner in various investment schemes, both in Indonesia and globally.

“They also see the potential to serve as a local partner for Danantara, which provides comfort and confidence, as we can invest together not only in Indonesia but also abroad,” he said.

On that occasion, President Prabowo emphasized that Indonesia no longer wishes to be known as a “sleeping giant.” He stated that it is time for the country to rise, move forward, and maximize its full economic potential in collaboration with global partners.
