Ramadan Safari at Al Bakrie Grand Mosque in Lampung, Kadin Chairman Applauds the Growth of MSMEs

Bandar Lampung – Chairman of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) Anindya Novyan Bakrie attended a gathering and iftar (breaking of the fast) with the leadership of Kadin Lampung Province at Al Bakrie Grand Mosque Lampung in Bandar Lampung on Monday evening (March 9, 2026).

Bakrie, commonly known as Anin, said the gathering reflected the business community’s gratitude for the blessings they have received, while also serving as an opportunity to share with those in need.

“The blessings we receive are inseparable from togetherness. Therefore, a portion of them should also be shared with others,” he said.

During the visit, Anin also provided financial assistance to several orphans as part of social outreach activities during the holy month of Ramadan.

“While in Lampung, we stopped by Al-Bakrie Grand Mosque Lampung to provide assistance to orphaned children,” Anin said.

Anin also expressed pride in seeing the enthusiasm of the local community who filled the mosque—one of Lampung’s landmarks—to worship and participate in positive activities. He noted that the mosque has been able to optimally perform both its social and religious functions for the community.

“I saw outside that the mosque was lively with the community. There are many MSME activities and markets, as well as playgrounds for children. I think this reflects the true function of a mosque—not only for worship but also for building social ties,” Anin explained.

He further emphasized that Al-Bakrie Grand Mosque serves not only as a place of worship but was also designed to become a center for community development and a driver of the local economy.

According to Anin, the concept is supported by various modern facilities within the mosque complex, including a multipurpose ballroom, green open spaces, family-friendly playgrounds, and dozens of MSME stalls that contribute positively to the surrounding community’s economy.

“This mosque is designed to create a positive economic impact for the surrounding community through dozens of MSME stalls. We want a religious and family-oriented atmosphere to come together here,” Anin said.

Meanwhile, Chairman of the Advisory Board of Kadin Lampung Province M. Alzier Dianis Thabranie delivered a motivational message highlighting the importance of strong mental resilience and a positive mindset in facing life’s challenges.

Alzier compared mental toughness to a lion, known as the king of the jungle not merely because of its physical size, but because of its courage and confidence.

“The most important thing is how we build self-confidence and a positive mindset so we can face various situations while continuing to share with others,” he concluded.

Also present at the event were Kadin Indonesia Coordinating Vice Chairman for Organization, Communication and Regional Empowerment (OKP) Erwin Aksa, Vice Chairman for Membership Widiyanto Saputro, Vice Chairman for Press and Mass Media Industry Adriansyah, and Chairman of Kadin Lampung Province Muhammad Kadafi.
