Makkah — Titi Khoiriah, representing Kadin Indonesia, once again demonstrated Indonesia’s active presence on the global stage by serving as a speaker in an international panel session at the prestigious Makkah Halal Forum 2026. At the forum, which brought together global halal industry leaders, regulators, and business stakeholders, she emphasized the importance of Indonesia’s strategic positioning in building and strengthening the global halal ecosystem.
In her presentation titled “The Potential and Role of Indonesia in the Global Halal Ecosystem,” Titi highlighted that Indonesia possesses strong fundamentals to become one of the key drivers of global halal growth. With the world’s largest Muslim population, a vast domestic market, and steadily expanding industrial capacity, Indonesia is well positioned to act as a catalyst for global halal economic expansion.
According to Titi, several key factors will accelerate this growth, including the strengthening of Mutual Recognition Agreements (MRAs), strategic bilateral cooperation, halal trade diplomacy, and regional integration. Through these approaches, Indonesia is expected not only to serve as a major consumer market but also as a producer and strategic partner within the global halal supply chain.
She further underscored the strategic role of Kadin Indonesia in advancing the national halal economy. The organization plays a critical role in integrating the halal supply chain from upstream to downstream, strengthening business capacity, and expanding global market access for Indonesian halal products.
“Kadin Indonesia serves as a catalyst for synergy among the government, businesses, and international partners, enabling Indonesia to transform into an engine of growth in the global halal economy,” Titi stated during the panel discussion.
Titi Khoiriah’s active participation as an international speaker reflects Kadin Indonesia’s commitment to strengthening Indonesia’s strategic role within the global halal ecosystem. She also called for stronger cross-country, cross-sector, and multi-stakeholder collaboration to create an inclusive, sustainable, and globally competitive Islamic economic and halal sector ecosystem.
Through strong synergy and collaboration, the role of entrepreneurs under Kadin Indonesia is expected to become increasingly solid both domestically and globally. The Makkah Halal Forum 2026 serves as an important platform to reaffirm Indonesia’s readiness to take a leadership role in shaping the future of the global halal industry.
