Kadin Bali and Ministry of Law and Human Rights Discuss Changes to APEC Business Travel Card Policy

Chairman of the Bali Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin), I Made Ariandi and related staff received a visit from the Ministry of Law and Human Rights to discuss policy changes related to the APEC Business Travel Card (ABTC) as a strategic step in opening opportunities to the global ecosystem with certain privileges.

On the occasion, Chairman I Made Ariandi expressed his views related to the requirements and prequalification terms and conditions given the overlap in the fulfilment of requirements and bias in understanding the requirements in applying for ABTC.

"The trend is changing so that adjustments are needed in the preparation of requirements and policies more carefully, clearly and clearly so as to provide economic benefits for entrepreneurs," he said (21/3/2024).

Ariandi said Kadin is a government partner based on the Law and is the parent organisation of entrepreneurs, associations and associations in Indonesia so that it is necessary to build a form of linked and match that is appropriate and targeted so that every process and policy can be carried out quickly, precisely and efficiently for Kadin member entrepreneurs who will certainly get privileges for time and work efficiency.

On this occasion, input and considerations from the legal side, investment and digital integration were also conveyed as a form of adaptation to the needs of the global world and procedures that are appropriate and adaptive to other countries that are members of APEC.

"In the next stage, it is expected that there will be involvement of all stakeholders in policy formulation, socialisation and implementation together with Kadin," he concluded.
