The Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) of Bogor City collaborated with the Bogor City Government to organise a healthy walk with legendary culinary dishes that started and finished at Bogor City Hall, on Sunday (23/6/2024). The event, which was held in commemoration of the 542nd Bogor Anniversary (HJB), was attended by thousands of participants with a route around the Bogor Botanical Gardens (KRB) One-way System (SSA).

Chairman of Kadin Bogor City, Almer Faiq Rusydi said, the event was attended by at least 1,100 participants in a healthy walk that circled the SSA KRB, then continued with joint gymnastics. The event was also enlivened with legendary culinary offerings of Bogor City.

"There are many legendary culinary, including Abah Uki's dumplings, Jafar's ketoprak, Cimahpar's ketupat, Pak Jumat's Cungkring, Dongkal Djuragan and many more. We want to raise and introduce to the people of Bogor City as well as tourists outside Bogor City about the food or culinary of Bogor City which is very legendary,’ said Almer accompanied by the Chairman of the Committee for the legendary culinary dish, Arwin Syahputra.

Almer continued, there were 17 stands for legendary food and 20 MSMEs assisted by the Bogor City Chamber of Commerce. Events like this are expected to increase the introduction of superior MSME products in Bogor City so that they can be better known to people outside the city of Bogor.

‘We also have training in the field of MSMEs, such as the MSME procurement defence programme and digital marketing training and it's all free,’ he concluded.

Besides presenting 17 legendary culinary delights, such as ketupat Cimahpar, siomay abah Uki, Toge Goreng Pak Gebro and others, this event also presents attractive door prizes, such as electric motorbikes, two mountain bikes, refrigerators, televisions, other electronic goods and cash.
