Kadin and Badan Bank Tanah Ready to Collaborate to Realize the "Quick Wins" Program of Kadin and President Prabowo’s Asta Cita

Jakarta – Chairman of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin Indonesia), Anindya Novyan Bakrie, welcomed a courtesy visit from Head of the Indonesia Land Bank Agency (Badan Bank Tanah), Parman Nataatmadja, at Menara Kadin Indonesia, South Jakarta, on Tuesday, June 24, 2025.

Anindya, popularly known as Anin, emphasized that potential collaboration with the Badan Bank Tanah could pave the way for the private sector to actively engage in strategic national projects.

He highlighted the vast land portfolio of Badan Bank Tanah, currently around 33,000 hectares, and its development potential through long-term Building Use Rights (Hak Guna Bangunan/HGB) schemes.

“We discussed how the Badan Bank Tanah and Kadin could work together. The agency currently manages around 33,000 hectares of land, a number that will continue to grow. It has the capability to collaborate using HGB schemes of 30 years, extendable by 20 and then another 30 years,” said Anin.

He further explained that Kadin has several priority programs or "quick wins" that can be integrated with state land assets. These include the Gotong Royong Free Nutritious Meals Program (MBG), affordable and decent housing development, vocational training for migrant workers, and free basic health screening services, all under a spirit of mutual cooperation (gotong royong).

“What’s truly remarkable is that for social purposes, the land lease can be reduced—potentially to zero rupiah. This is a breakthrough by the government, and we, the business community, are always eager to work with a progressive government that upholds social justice,” Anin added.

Meanwhile, Head of the Badan Bank Tanah, Parman Nataatmadja, stated that the meeting provided a strong opportunity for synergy between the business sector and the agency, particularly in support of the Asta Cita agenda of President Prabowo Subianto and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka.

“This is a very positive opportunity with Kadin, which represents a broad network of entrepreneurs—all of whom need land—especially in support of the President’s Asta Cita programs such as decent housing for low-income families (MBR), free nutritious meals (MBG), training centers, and more,” said Parman.

He assured that the Badan Bank Tanah provides legal certainty not only for communities benefiting from agrarian reform, but also for investors. The agency guarantees that any land allocated to the private sector is legally clean and clear.

“Land acquisition in Indonesia has long been a challenge due to legal uncertainties. One of our core responsibilities is to safeguard and manage the land—both physically and legally—inside and outside of court. If there’s a dispute involving an investor, we take the lead,” Parman asserted.
