Coordinating Minister AHY Speaks at Kadin Retreat 2025 Class Session in Tidar Valley, Highlights Kadin’s Capacity and Experience in Attracting Investment

Magelang - Chairman of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) Anindya Novyan Bakrie, along with 230 members of Kadin’s Daily Executive Board, Chairpersons of Provincial Kadin throughout Indonesia, and representatives from Special Member Associations (ALB), participated in a briefing session by the Governor of Lemhannas RI, TB Ace Hasan Syadzily, on the theme “Global Geopolitics: The Aspirations and Challenges of Achieving National Resilience” as part of the Kadin Retreat 2025 at the Military Academy, Magelang, Central Java, Saturday (August 9, 2025).

After the session, Anindya Novyan Bakrie, commonly known as Anin, emphasized the importance of strengthening economic resilience aligned with the values of nationalism, patriotism, and national identity.

Anin expressed his appreciation to the Governor of Lemhannas RI, who has fully supported the preparation of a nationhood-themed curriculum for the Kadin Retreat 2025 over the past three months.

“We heavily refer to Lemhannas regarding the values of nationalism. Economic resilience is an inseparable part of national resilience, especially considering the current global geopolitical situation is far from stable,” Anin said.

He further added that the business world is called upon to unite ahead of Indonesia’s 80th Independence Day on August 17, 2025.

“The spirit is Indonesia Incorporated with the ethos of mutual cooperation, progressing together,” he stated.

Furthermore, Lemhannas RI Governor TB Ace Hasan Syadzily underscored Kadin’s strategic role in maintaining national economic resilience.

According to Ace, the business sector is the driving force of the economy and must also uphold strong commitment to national values.

“A progressive nation is one with a strong national ideology. The dynamic understanding of global geopolitics greatly influences economic conditions. Therefore, the business sector must strengthen domestic capabilities to create job opportunities and a healthy business ecosystem,” Ace explained.

He added that the class materials cover the four pillars of national consensus, national history, and discussions on the challenges facing the nation amid uncertain global geopolitical conditions.

“I conveyed that one of our nation’s strengths lies in our ability to integrate under a unified vision towards our national goals. Kadin is one of the key and strategic elements in our efforts to realize the Golden Indonesia 2045 vision,” Ace concluded.

Meanwhile, in another briefing session at the Kadin Retreat 2025 titled Defense Supporting Economy, Defense Minister Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin highlighted the close relationship between the defense sector and economic resilience.

“The business world, especially Kadin, plays a very strategic and key role in driving economic resilience. Because the business sector is the engine of the national economy that must also strengthen its commitment to national values,” Sjafrie emphasized.

As information, Kadin Indonesia held the retreat over four days until Sunday, August 10, 2025.

The retreat period was utilized by 230 Kadin members from across Indonesia to strengthen the spirit of Indonesia Incorporated — a spirit of mutual cooperation to jointly support the President’s grand vision and government programs in achieving 8% economic growth, national self-reliance, and social justice for all Indonesian people.

This retreat was not merely a pause from activities but a moment of reflection and consolidation to unify the vision among Kadin leaders and members across Indonesia.

All of this is realized through the spirit of Indonesia Incorporated — close collaboration between the state and the business world with a single major goal: the welfare of all Indonesian people.

Participants of the Kadin Retreat were given materials not only on efforts to increase investment and trade, energy and food sovereignty, government programs and opportunities for Kadin members’ participation, but also on the increasingly dynamic and complex geopolitical conditions, national insights, and the importance of being entrepreneurial fighters who embrace the values of Pancasila, especially the principle of Social Justice for All Indonesians.

The sessions featured various speakers, including Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono, Defense Minister Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin, Deputy Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal, and Security Affairs Lieutenant General (Ret.) Lodewijk Friedrich Paulus, and Lemhannas RI Governor TB Ace Hasan Syadzily.
