Jakarta - The Chairman of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin), Anindya Novyan Bakrie, expressed his appreciation and optimism regarding the role of the Indonesian Young Entrepreneurs Association (HIPMI) in advancing national economic transformation.
He delivered these remarks after attending the HIPMI-Danantara Business Forum 2025, themed “Self-Reliant with Danantara: Economic Transformation Towards Golden Indonesia 2045”, held at Hotel Kempinski, South Jakarta, on Monday (20/10/2025).
Anindya, or “Anin” as he is commonly called, emphasized that Kadin, as the national business platform, fully supports HIPMI’s dynamic efforts to strengthen the national entrepreneurial ecosystem.
“Our network connects associations as well as Kadin at the provincial and city levels. What I see here is that HIPMI members are very eager to learn from experienced seniors,” Anin said.
He also highlighted the importance of young entrepreneurs as job creators rather than job seekers, noting that future innovation will emerge from collaboration between young entrepreneurs and established companies.
“Innovation in the future will come from the synergy between young entrepreneurs and established companies. Mature companies also need agile partners,” he explained.
Anin added that the national workforce demand grows by 2.5 to 3 million jobs annually, making the role of young entrepreneurs increasingly critical.
He also noted that unemployment, partly caused by technology transitions, could be mitigated by HIPMI through the development of relevant and innovative technologies.
“Many unemployment issues are driven by technology shifts. HIPMI can fill that gap with effective technology. They have the enthusiasm, some experience, and skills. With guidance, they will succeed on their own,” Anin concluded.
