Kadin Indonesia’s 2025 National Leadership Meeting Ready to Be Held, Highlighting the Theme of Collective Action to Expand Employment Opportunities for Indonesia’s Prosperity and Self-Reliance

Jakarta – The Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin Indonesia) outlined the organization’s policy direction and national economic priorities ahead of the 2025 Kadin Indonesia National Leadership Meeting (Rapimnas), scheduled to take place from November 30 to December 2, 2025, at the Park Hyatt Hotel, Jakarta.

During the “Road to Rapimnas 2025” press conference held at the Kadin Indonesia Tower in South Jakarta on Tuesday (November 25, 2025), Kadin Indonesia Chairman Anindya Novyan Bakrie emphasized that the 2025 Rapimnas will serve as a key moment for evaluating the past year’s progress and formulating strategic plans for the business community.

“This year’s Rapimnas, like previous ones, is a forum for reviewing what has been achieved over the past year, improving what needs to be addressed, and drafting next year’s work plan,” said Anin, as he is commonly known.

Anin explained that the format of this year’s Rapimnas has been redesigned to adopt a bottom-up approach, meaning decisions and recommendations will first be consolidated from regional branches and business sectors.

“This Rapimnas has been adjusted so the approach is no longer top-down but bottom-up. All coordinating vice chairpersons were instructed to hold national coordination meetings before the Rapimnas,” Anin noted.

He added that this format was designed to ensure that inputs are more representative and grounded in sectoral needs rather than being solely dictated by the central leadership. Discussions this year will also focus more on technical substance rather than ceremonial activities.

“Topic-by-topic discussions will be held with the relevant ministers, and the results will later be submitted to President Prabowo Subianto as input from the business community,” Anin added.

Although Indonesia’s economic growth is considered stable, Anin pointed out that several structural challenges still need to be addressed. These include logistics costs, which remain around 14 percent of GDP, the declining contribution of the industrial sector, labor-market mismatches, and the impacts of technological transformation such as AI—all of which, he said, require measured responses.

“These are real conditions on the ground that we need to respond to. That’s why at the Rapimnas we combine the perspectives of entrepreneurs, economists, associations, professional groups, and regional representatives,” Anin explained.

Meanwhile, Erwin Aksa, Chair of the 2025 Rapimnas Organizing Committee and Kadin Indonesia’s Deputy Coordinator for Organization, Communication, and Regional Empowerment (OKP), stressed that the Rapimnas will function as a platform for evaluating the programs implemented over the past year.

“This agenda serves as a performance review of the past year, during which Kadin has engaged in numerous activities, international partnerships, and MoUs, both domestically and abroad,” Erwin said.

Furthermore, Taufan Eko Nugroho, Chair of the Rapimnas 2025 Steering Committee and Kadin Indonesia’s Deputy Chair for Organizational Affairs, shared the main theme and subthemes that will be discussed in greater technical detail during the event.

“This year’s Rapimnas carries the theme ‘Kadin Collaborates to Expand Job Opportunities for Indonesia’s Welfare and Self-Reliance,’ with subthemes focusing on innovation, productivity, industrial development, trade, and optimizing national potential toward Indonesia Emas 2045,” Taufan outlined.

In addition, Clarissa Tanoesoedibjo, Chair of the 2025 Rapimnas Organizing Committee and Kadin Indonesia’s Deputy Chair for Communication and Digital Affairs, noted that the schedule has been arranged in stages to ensure a structured and systematic flow of events.

“Rapimnas 2025 will be held on December 1 and 2 at Park Hyatt Jakarta, with a pre-event on November 30. The pre-event will open with a creative economy showcase and a screening of an AI-based short film, along with a discussion forum hosted by the Kadin Indonesia Institute. The entire agenda has been designed to provide space for innovation, capacity building, and collaboration across regions and business sectors,” Clarissa concluded.
