Kadin Himpun Aspirasi Dunia Usaha dan Siapkan Rekomendasi Strategis Jelang Rapimnas 2026

Jakarta – The Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin Indonesia) held a Communication Forum for Extraordinary Members (ALB) ahead of the 2026 Kadin National Leadership Meeting (Rapimnas) at the Raffles Hotel in South Jakarta on Monday (October 19, 2026). The forum served as a platform to gather input from business stakeholders and formulate strategic recommendations to be discussed at the Rapimnas on October 29–30.

Kadin Indonesia Chairman Anindya Novyan Bakrie said the forum was part of the preparations for the Rapimnas. Previously, Kadin had held simultaneous Provincial Leadership Meetings (Rapimprov) on September 24, 2026, coinciding with the organization's 58th anniversary. The meetings involved all 38 provinces to gather input from across the country.

Anindya, commonly known as Anin, explained that the various aspirations conveyed by regional representatives and the Advisory Council would be grouped into several categories or working groups. This approach is expected to help Kadin formulate recommendations for the government to support business growth.

"Kadin remains optimistic, but we must also remain cautious. Despite the various challenges, we believe opportunities exist. However, we must also understand how to improve our competitiveness so that we can escape the middle-income trap," Anin said.

Anin also emphasized the importance of supporting communities in need. According to him, contributions from the business community are needed not only when disasters occur, but also in improving access to markets, financing, technology, and other essential resources.

Meanwhile, Chairman of the Kadin Indonesia Advisory Council M. Arsjad Rasjid said the forum was part of efforts to gather input and establish business priorities to be brought to the 2026 Kadin National Leadership Meeting.

During the forum, Arsjad also presented the 2026 White Paper on Business Challenges and Solutions, the second edition of a report compiling issues faced by businesses along with proposed solutions. The white paper was developed based on a survey of organizations affiliated with Kadin's Extraordinary Members (ALB) and provincial-level business owners across various sectors.

"The manufacturing sector accounted for the largest share of respondents at 27.5%, followed by tourism and the creative economy at 17.6%, and logistics and transportation at 11.8%. The survey findings were subsequently discussed in commission meetings to examine various challenges and formulate recommendations for improvement," he said.

Arsjad expressed hope that the white paper would serve as a reference for developing Kadin Indonesia's Executive Board work programs, as well as a basis for advocacy efforts directed at the government and state institutions. He emphasized that the recommendations must be jointly monitored and followed through to deliver tangible improvements for businesses.

The Kadin Indonesia Advisory Council also encouraged the organization to use the 2026 White Paper on Business Challenges and Solutions as a key reference in its advocacy efforts with the government.

"The Advisory Council also encourages the Executive Board to involve ALB members in policymaking and the implementation of organizational programs," he explained.

In addition, the Advisory Council called on Kadin to expand its ALB membership by encouraging more business organizations, federations of associations, entrepreneurs' organizations, and business groups and associations to join. This step is considered important to strengthen and improve the effectiveness of Kadin's advocacy efforts with the government.

Arsjad also urged ALB members to continue conveying their aspirations, supported by sector-specific data, while working together to monitor the resolution of outstanding recommendations from 2025 and the measurable implementation of the 2026 recommendations.

"With a clear division of responsibilities among the Advisory Council, the Executive Board, and all Kadin ALB members, aspirations can move beyond discussion forums and translate into tangible policy changes," Arsjad said.

The event was attended by Kadin Indonesia Coordinating Vice Chairman for Organization, Communications, and Regional Empowerment Erwin Aksa; Coordinating Vice Chairman for Food Mulyadi Jayabaya; Coordinating Vice Chairman for Law and Human Rights, Facilities, and Infrastructure M. Azis Syamsuddin; and Coordinating Vice Chairman for Export Development Juan Permata Adoe.
