Jakarta – President Prabowo Subianto delivered a briefing to approximately 400 participants of the President's Program for Future Indonesian Leaders (P3MDI) Batch 1 for the 2026 Fiscal Year and 250 members of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) from across the country at his private residence in Hambalang, Bogor Regency, West Java, on Saturday afternoon, October 31, 2026.

The briefing provided an opportunity for the President to deliver his directives while also hearing reports from the business community on investment developments and the private sector's contributions to supporting national development.

The meeting began with a report from Kadin Indonesia Chairman Anindya Bakrie, who presented several key outcomes of the 2026 Kadin National Leadership Meeting (Rapimnas). Among the points highlighted was that Domestic Investment (Penanaman Modal Dalam Negeri/PMDN) had reached nearly IDR 2,000 trillion during the first two years of President Prabowo's administration, reflecting growing business confidence in the national economy.

According to Anindya, this achievement demonstrates business confidence in Indonesia's economic prospects. Domestic investment, including contributions from medium-sized business owners, is also considered important in strengthening Indonesia's economic resilience amid global uncertainty.

The meeting also discussed the business community's commitment to supporting the development of future industries, including electric vehicles, renewable energy, and data centers, which offer significant potential for the use of locally sourced components.

Through the meeting, President Prabowo engaged in dialogue with business leaders on domestic economic development while delivering guidance to P3MDI participants as part of broader efforts to develop human resources and prepare Indonesia's future leaders.
