A number of world leaders from various fields will attend the Indonesia International Sustainability Forum (ISF) 2024 which is officially held today, Thursday (5/09/2024) at the Jakarta Convention Centre (JCC). ISF 2024 was attended by more than 11,000 participants.

ISF 2024, which was opened by Indonesian President Joko Widodo, raised the theme Towards Sustainable and Inclusive Growth. ISF highlights five pillars of discussion, namely the green economy, energy transition, biodiversity and nature conservation, sustainable living, and the blue economy.

In addition to Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment Luhut B. Pandjaitan and Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) Chairman Arsjad Rasjid, a number of leaders will be present as keynote speakers at the forum including Singapore's Coordinating Minister for National Security Teo Chee Hean, Malaysia's Deputy Prime Minister Fadillah Yusof, China's Minister of Industry and Information Technology Jin Zuanglong, and Democratic Republic of Congo's Minister of Environment Eve Bazaiba.

Also attending ISF 2024 will be UN Secretary-General's Special Envoy for Oceans Peter Thomson, Special Advisor on Climate Action from the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs Kevin Magron. Also present will be CEO of Bezos Earth Fund Andrew Steers, Vice President of The Rockefeller Foundation, Deepali Khanna.

The ISF 2024 Forum is a platform for exchanging ideas and knowledge, as well as providing solutions and best practices for dealing with climate change. ISF 2024 which lasts for two days will be filled with a number of agendas ranging from the main session by presenting key speakers, Plenary, Thematic, High Level Dialogue, Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) Signing, Exhibition, to Gala Dinner.
