Kadin Indonesia Expands Business Matching, Opens Digital Transformation Opportunities for Industry

Jakarta – The Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin Indonesia), in collaboration with Monitor ERP System, held the “Industrial Leaders Forum & Business Matching: Enhancing Industrial Competitiveness through ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) and Digital Transformation” at Menara Kadin Indonesia, Kuningan, South Jakarta, on Thursday (September 3, 2026).

Kadin Indonesia Deputy Chairman for Technology Transformation, MSMEs, and Digitalization Teguh Anantawikrama said the forum was part of a series of business matching initiatives regularly organized by Kadin Indonesia.

The event provided a platform for stakeholders to meet, exchange experiences, and connect the needs of Indonesian businesses with the support and solutions that can be provided by overseas partners.

Teguh explained that one of the challenges still encountered in cooperation with international partners is the mismatch between the needs of Indonesian businesses and the support that can be offered by overseas partners. According to him, forums such as business matching can serve as a platform to bridge these needs and ensure that potential cooperation is more targeted.

“Most of the obstacles faced by the international partners I have met, particularly as I am also the Chairman of Indonesia Investors, stem from the mismatch between the needs of our colleagues in Indonesia and those of our counterparts overseas. Forums like this will be very useful in bringing these two sides together,” he said.

Furthermore, Teguh said similar activities could also be organized in collaboration with Provincial Kadin offices, allowing more businesses in the regions to learn about various services and solutions that can support their business development. This is part of Kadin Indonesia’s efforts to empower businesses, both in Jakarta and across the regions.

“This is just a small part of Kadin’s efforts to empower our fellow entrepreneurs, both those in Jakarta and those in the regions,” he said.

Meanwhile, Country Director of PT Monitor ERP System Lingeswaran Nathan said one of the challenges still faced by industries in the digital transformation process is the continued reliance on manual work. This condition can increase the risk of errors and make work processes less efficient. According to him, digitalization is needed to establish more structured workflows, helping industries improve efficiency and competitiveness in the market.

“Industries need to improve their level of digitalization. Manual work will become increasingly difficult and will also create more issues arising from mistakes and errors. Therefore, we need to reduce these errors and embrace digitalization so that we can establish a streamlined and well-structured process flow for industries, ultimately making them more competitive in the market,” Lingeswaran said.

Also attending the event virtually was Kadin Indonesia Deputy Chairman for the Development of Associations/Organizations/Extraordinary Members Benny Soetrisno.
