Kadin Central Java and East Kalimantan Strengthen Interregional Economic Collaboration

Samarinda – The Central Java Provincial Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin Central Java) continues to promote stronger interregional collaboration as part of efforts to expand business opportunities, investment, and national economic development. The initiative was demonstrated through a working visit to East Kalimantan, joined by Chairman of Kadin Central Java Harry Nuryanto Soediro, accompanying Central Java Governor Ahmad Luthfi.

As part of the visit, Kadin Central Java strengthened institutional and business relations with Kadin East Kalimantan through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on cooperation between the two organizations. The MoU was signed by Chairman of Kadin Central Java Harry Nuryanto Soediro and Chairman of Kadin East Kalimantan Putri Amanda Nurramadhani at Odah Etam, the East Kalimantan Governor’s Official Office Complex, Samarinda, on Thursday (06/08/2026).

The signing of the MoU marked a strategic momentum to create broader opportunities for collaboration between businesses in Central Java and East Kalimantan. The partnership is expected to support the development of regional potential, expand business networks, increase investment opportunities, and create various forms of business cooperation that benefit both provinces.

In addition to cooperation between the two chambers of commerce, Kadin Central Java’s visit to East Kalimantan also served as an opportunity to strengthen interregional synergy through the signing of several cooperation agreements in strategic sectors, including agriculture, investment, and education. This cross-sector collaboration is expected to bring together the respective potentials and needs of both regions, creating more concrete and sustainable opportunities for cooperation.

Chairman of Kadin Central Java Harry Nuryanto Soediro said interregional connectivity is one of the keys to strengthening the national economic ecosystem. Through collaboration among the business community, regional governments, and various stakeholders, the economic potential of each region can be developed more optimally.

“Cooperation between Central Java and East Kalimantan is also a step toward building stronger economic connectivity, particularly in creating investment opportunities, business development, improving the quality of human resources, and creating jobs,” Harry said.

With the establishment of cooperation between Kadin Central Java and Kadin East Kalimantan, it is expected that more business and investment opportunities can be turned into tangible initiatives.
