Kupang – The East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin NTT) and APX Academy have officially established a strategic partnership through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the implementation of professional taxation training. The signing ceremony took place at Harper Hotel Kupang, East Nusa Tenggara, on Thursday (June 4, 2026).

The event also marked the launch of the Brevet A and B Taxation Education and Training Program, alongside a presentation on the latest updates in tax regulations and legal developments.

In his remarks, Kadin NTT Chairman Bobby Lianto expressed his appreciation to APX Academy for collaborating with the business community to enhance tax literacy among entrepreneurs in East Nusa Tenggara.

“I would like to thank APX Academy for facilitating this program. Previously, we also launched the Brevet A and B taxation training program at the Faculty of Economics and Business of Nusa Cendana University (FEB Undana). As business practitioners, we need to continuously improve our understanding of taxation because sound tax knowledge supports economic growth and business development,” Bobby said.

He added that the collaboration between Kadin NTT and APX Academy is expected to provide broader access for entrepreneurs to strengthen their competencies in taxation.

“A strong understanding of taxation not only helps companies fulfill their obligations but also contributes to regional economic development,” he said.

Meanwhile, APX Academy President Director Ali Yus Isman explained that the event focused on three main agendas.

First, the signing of the MoU between Kadin NTT and APX Academy concerning a professional taxation training program that adopts a more modern learning approach through the Brevet A and B certification programs.

Second, APX Academy introduced the training program to participants as part of efforts to improve public tax literacy, particularly among business owners and corporate staff in Kupang. The program is expected to help participants gain a more comprehensive understanding of tax regulations, enabling them to meet their tax obligations effectively and in compliance with applicable laws.

Third, APX Academy provided updates on several newly issued tax and legal regulations that are important for the business community to understand.

“The business sector’s need for taxation knowledge continues to grow as regulations evolve and become increasingly dynamic,” Ali concluded.
