The Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) absorbed the aspirations of associations through the Extraordinary Association Forum (ALB) event as part of a series of Kadin 2023 National Leadership Meeting (Rapimnas) events held at Swissotel, Pantai Indah Kapuk, Jakarta (6/7/2023). ALB consists of associations/associations/mergers of Kadin Indonesia members from all business sectors.
Vice Chairman of Kadin Indonesia for Associations, Wisnu W. Pettalolo, said that previously a National Working Meeting for Associations had also been held to increase the participation and role of ALB in building the national economy.
"In this ALB forum, we discuss how to find solutions in business, determine recommendations for regulations and legislation. The role of ALB is highly expected, so that later we can feel the positive impact of the regulation on the business climate," said Wisnu.
According to him, matters relating to challenges and obstacles encountered should be resolved through Kadin. Currently, Kadin has formed various Working Groups (Pokja) to accelerate improvements and solutions to various sectoral issues, such as Pokja Necara Komoditas, TKDN, Hilirisasi, Dana Hasil Ekspor, Sertifikasi Badan Usaha, etc.
"This formation arises from the need for business actors to work with progress, so that what we are aiming for has begun to feel the results," said Wisnu.
In the same place, Acting Chairman of Kadin Indonesia Yukki N. Hanafi expressed his appreciation to the ALB for jointly implementing the Kadin 2023 Work program as a result of the Kadin 2022 Rapimnas, and for actively participating in the formulation and improvement of Organisational Regulations.
"On 25 September 2023 in the Daily Management Meeting, the Kadin Indonesia management board stipulated 23 Organisational regulations, then since 25 September 2023 23 POs are binding on all organisational devices and Kadin Members including Company Organisations (Associations / Combinations), and Entrepreneur Organisations (Associations / Associations) outside members of Kadin (ALB) Kadin," Yukki said.
He asserted, after the issuance of Presidential Decree No. 18/2022 concerning the approval of the improvement of Kadin's AD & ART and 23 Organisational Regulations (PO) have been refined, Kadin is getting stronger and more solid to jointly realise the joint commitment of One Kadin that is Inclusive, Collaborative and Progressive as the only parent organisation of the business world in Indonesia.
