Micro, Small, Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are one of the efforts and instruments to achieve the vision of a Golden Indonesia 2045 where Indonesia becomes one of the strongest economies in the world.
This was conveyed by the Chairman of Kadin Indonesia, Arsjad Rasjid in the opening of the UMKM Naik Kelas training on Saturday, (8/6/2024). Arsjad also said that Kadin has a duty to foster MSMEs.
"Micro and small enterprises must be encouraged to become medium-sized and globally competitive companies. Our MSMEs must not be inferior to other countries' MSMEs such as Thailand, Vietnam, China. They must be competitive and upgrade,” said Arsjad.
According to him, in order for MSMEs to be competitive and upgrade, they must be able to overcome challenges to access to financing, low quality of human resources and lack of digital utilization.
On that occasion, Arsjad also invited MSMEs to join Kadin membership.
“There are many benefits, starting from the ease of getting a network to get financing services, to the ease of getting business partners both locally and internationally,” he said.
A series of UMKM Naik Kelas trainings will be held from June to August focusing on 9 main themes, including UMKM Partnership and Financing, Building Personality, Business Planning, UMKM Financial Reporting, UMKM Protection, UMKM Business Licensing, UMKM Product Promotion, Online Sales, UMKM Product Export, and National UMKM Day Commemoration.
